Dr Diana Kennedy

Dr Diana Kennedy is a Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with extensive experience in both adult and paediatric plastic surgery. Dr Kennedy is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a member of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Craniomaxillofacial Surgery, the Australian Cleft Lip and Palate Association, and the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Dr Kennedy cares for all patients with plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgical needs. She has a special interest in women’s and children’s health and offers an empathic and warm approach to their care. She understands that achieving the best results comes from a collaboration between patient and surgeon. She maintains a caring and approachable atmosphere in her practice and delivers personalised care from the first consultation, during surgery, and throughout the recovery period.
Dr Kennedy works at the Mater Private Hospital, Mater Private Children’s Hospital, St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital, Pacific Day Surgery, and the Queensland Children’s Hospital.
Dr Yun Phua
SPECIALIST PLASTIC AND RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGEON

Dr Yun Phua is a Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with subspecialty fellowship training in craniofacial surgery and reconstructive microsurgery. He has extensive experience and a special interest in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery of the face.
Dr Phua is currently Director of the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Queensland Children’s Hospital and also works at the Mater Hospital Brisbane. Dr Phua graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. He then completed training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in New Zealand and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons after moving to Brisbane in 2016. His fellowship training was undertaken at the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne and at the Uppsala University Hospital in Sweden.
Dr Phua is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and is a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgery and the Australian New Zealand Society of Craniomaxillofacial Surgery. He is actively involved in research through the University of Queensland and is currently investigating the clinical use of 3D printed biological scaffolds.

Nurse Jeane has over a decade of nursing experience and is an integral member of the Terrace Plastic Surgery team. She has extensive expertise in wound care, surgical assisting in minor operations, and post-operative patient management. She works closely with the surgeons to provide comprehensive care for patients at every stage of their surgical journey.
Grace brings years of experience and dedication to her role as Practice Manager. Her focus is on contributing to an exceptional patient experience, ensuring every patient feels supported and well cared for throughout their surgical journey. Grace works closely with both patients and the surgical team to ensure that every detail, from the initial consultation to post-operative follow-up, is handled with the utmost attention and care.
